Lada Krizek belongs to a few of Czech singers, whose singing making is built on highest stands of imaginary Czech celestial. He has already been a fixed star of our popular scenes for twenty years. He proves this not only by its vocal, but also by composer quality. He acted in rock bands TAM (1984-85) and VITACIT (1985-86). In the year 1987 was awarded the prize of "Zlatý slavík" and gold LP with band CITRON for LP "Radegast". In 1989 Lada cooperated with a music composer Karel Svoboda and sang a title song to a serial story "Dlouhá míle". He began to prepare his own project "KREYSON" in the same year. In 1990 he recorded KREYSON´s first album in Czech and English version called "Angel on the run" in studio in Hannoveru with producer Jan Němec. KREYSON was winning all czech charts with song „Vzdálená“. Except Lada´s broad vocal range here is also presented guitar art of Jarda Bartoň, a guitarist from Citron band. Lada Krizek and KREYSON were presented to fans on their megatour with elaborate scene and show. In 1991 Lada Krizek published a solo album "Zlatej chlapec", that sold incredible 100.000 pieces after 14 days of its sale as well as album "Angel on the run" and Lada was given already the second gold LP by a director of Tommu records. This tour was accompanied with giant scenes, like all KREYSON LPs, now with a new symbol - hat. Number of fans in the fanclub achieved up to 5.000. In 1992 Lada Krizek with KREYSON recorded the third album "Krizaci", which became gold as usual. At the end of the year his English version "Crusaders" was published for market of Western Europe and Japan. The fourth album Lada Krizek and KREYSON band was the album of the year 1993 "Elixir zivota". In the same year Lada published its second solo project under the name "Klic k me dusi", that charted his present path. This album contained Lada´s biggest hits from action in Vitacit, Citron and Kreyson. In 1994 Lada Krizek was awarded a diamond LP for 400.000 sold pieces as the best selling rock interpreter after November 1989. Five-year cooperation with company Tommu records was terminated by selection "Best of Lada Krizek", that is the selection of that best, such as Vzdálená, Zlatej chlapec, Klíč k mé duši and lulaby Nech si zdat. In late 1994 Lada Krizek started cooperation with Eva Urban, the first lady of Czech opera, soloist of The National Theatre. This unusual duo sang the famous song "Fantom of opera" in rock arrangement with czech text by Pavel Vrba. Other two songs with Eva Urban - „Ave Maria“ and „Nech si zdat“ were published on SP. In public inquiry TyTy Lada was appearing in first triad as the best-loved singer for five years. In 1995 Lada Krizek and KREYSON band published their last album under the name "Zákon dzungle by editorship Happy music. "Human life equals life in the jungle. Time, in that we are living is cogently, only strong one survives, weak one doesn´t have chance.", this way Lada Krizek characterizes the motive of the whole LP. In the same year he sings with Darina Rolinc in the part of prince in a fairy tale Tumbelina for Gemini Film. Many people will be perhaps surprised, that Lada Krizek composed an anthem for AC Sparta Praha football and ice-hockey. On album with festive atmospheres "Kam hvezdy chodi spat" in cooperation with Bambini de Praga he convinced, that his interpretative achievement is on a rare level. Among songs in this album there is a song Panis Angelicus, it is a duett of Lada Krizek and Karel Gott. In the late of the year 1997 Lada Krizek presented himself with a violin virtuoso Jaroslav Sveceny on a common CD "Vsem laskam". On this CD there sounded compositions of the old masters world's treasury. Helena Vondrackova was a guest on this album, where she sang with Lada Krizek a duett from musical Fantom of opera with czech text by Zdenek Borovec "Parkrat mlcet". During his cooperation with artists of classical genre Lada Krizek doesn´t forget its rock demonstration and style, which brought him most fans and success. During years of 1997-1998 he prepared with his brother Mirek a new project under the name of DAMIENS, which starts successfuly with a singl „Lásko mej se“ in autumn 1998. In the same year Lada takes part in the project of the musical "Kraska a zvire" with music by Michal David. He sang in the part of an animal, his partner a beauty sings Katerina Brozova, with who he sang a duett "Tiche vyznani". In March 1999 the first album of DAMIENS came out under the name "Kridla" that was awarded the gold LP as well. The CD was mastered in Hannover studio by Jan Nemec – the same Jan Nemec who cooperated with Lada already on projects with Citron and Kreyson. Song "Mam te rad" immediately jumped on the first positions of TV and radio charts. In October of the same year CD Kridla came out, it was baptized of Karel Svoboda and Leona Machalkova. In public inquiry Cesky slavik 99 DAMIENS was awared by "Skokan roku" award, for the biggest jump in popularity of the year 1999. Lada Krizek takes place on 6th position at the same competition as the best singer, as well in public inquiry TyTy. On the occasion of 60th birthday of Karel Gott DAMIENS presented themselves with a song "Adresat neznamy" on a big concert in Prague sports hall. Lada also sang a known hit of Karel Gott "Paganini". In 1999 Leona Machálková offered Lada to sing a common duett "Carovny mec", which was included on her solo album „Film and musical II.“ and which they presented together to spectators on Christmas tour of Leona Machálkova, where Lada Krizek was a guest. In the end of year 2000 Lada with his brother Mirek as DAMIENS took part in a concert tour "České vánoce 2000" of Karel Gott, where they were invited. In 2000 the second album of band DAMIENS "Svet zazraku" came out, that confirmed fruitfulness of DAMIENS and became gold for 25 000 sold CD´s. In spring of the year 2001 Lada Krizek accepts participation in remastering of album with band Citron under the name "Sila navratu". It is a selection of biggest hits, which Lada with CITRON celebrated biggest accomplishment with. On the album we can find a new song by Lada Krizek with beautiful text of J. Machek "Sila navratu". In the year 2001 the group DAMIENS was a guest on Christmas tour of Karel Gott, where Lada Krizek sang a song duett with Karel Gott "Zit sva leta". At the same time he got to take part in producing on preparing of the third album DAMIENS under the name "Nechci zustat sam", that was published and baptized in spring 2002. For successful sale of this album brothers Krizek were given the gold LP. After three successful albums of the group DAMIENS gramophonic company Popron Music published a selection of biggest hits "DAMIENS best of" in April 2003. In 2005 Lada as an author and singer was responsible for an anthem of the project "Země pohadek", which was placed successfuly in hit parade of Cesky rozhlas. During the year of 2006 Lada Krizek performs together with a guitarist Reddy Kroc in clubs all over the Czech republic. They play acoustic versions of hits from period of performing Lada Krizek in bands Vitacit, Citron and Kreyson. In the middle of 2006 Ladislav Křížek started renovation of band Kreyson. He proclaims a competition on post of a musician, which proceed from July to the end of October 2006 within a big interest of musicians ! There was signed on 90 talented musicians and 37 were chosen to the next round. These, on Sunday 17th of December 2006, performed their possibility in the second round of the competition in Olomouc. There was made a definitive decision on 25th of January 2007, when the competition was terminated. Programme was on-line transmitted on CT 1 and Cesky rozhlas 1 Radiozurnal. In May 2007 Lada published a new CD from acoustic tour „Nejde vratit cas“. Band Kreyson perform in many rock festivals all over the Czech republic and Slovakia during the year 2007. |
